Hot Stones Ancient civilizations believed that hot stones were beneficial in healing in many ways, especially for cleansing the body, relaxing the heart, grounding the soul and soothing the mind. The stones are used to bring relief to tense and sore muscles. As these hot stones glide over the muscles, tensions diminish, and stress gently melts away. Penetrating heat radiates deep into muscles providing relaxation while addressing mental, physical, and spiritual well-being.
Warm Bamboo is a new, exciting style of massage using different lengths and diameter of warm bamboo. It is an extremely relaxing therapeutic massage using natural bamboo. The bamboo is heated for maximum results and used in conjunction with the therapist's hands during the massage to promote well-being and relaxation. The massage therapist utilizes various size tools during the massage.

Full Body Dry Brush Skin cells are constantly shedding and skin brushing helps facilitate the process and thus the removal of toxins, such as uric acid. Skin brushing also targets the blood and lymphatic systems of the body. Lymph nodes and lymph vessels throughout the body are part of the immune system and skin brushing stimulates these areas to aid in optimal lymph and blood circulation and function. Helps to reduce cellulite by releasing toxins that are often trapped in the subcutaneous later of fat cells just beneath the skin which contributes to cellulite.

Steam Room Session Steam showers open our pores so our skin can excrete toxins and dirt, increases blood circulation, and can help clear sinuses and nasal passages to help us breath more easily. It is especially helpful for those who suffer from asthma, bronchitis and allergies. Steam showers can also sooth tired and aching muscles. Our Steam Room is private and includes a rainfall shower.
Side by Side Massage is a great way to bring romance into the relationship or introduce a partner who has never gotten a massage before in a way that makes them feel comfortable the first time. Two people are massaged in the same room, at the same time, by two different massage therapists. The massage style is up to you. We do not offer hot stone couples massage.
Prenatal For the mother to be in her second and third trimesters, this gentle massage focuses on the discomforts of pregnancy. This massage helps to relieve lower back pain, water retention, and sciatica. A doctor's note is required(please fax to 219-663-9901). Pregnant women are not allowed to use the Far Infrared Sauna. According to the American Pregnancy Association, elevating your body temperature in a sauna above 101 degrees Fahrenheit can raise your risks of complications and birth defects. Please note, there are some divided ideas on the dangers of certain essential oils used in aromatherapy during pregnancy, but since this time should be a time to enjoy and prepare for the upcoming birth of your child, it would be wise to skip the essential oils. There are some compounds in essential oils that have hormone-like behavior because of their molecular structure and there is no conclusive evidence on the effect. Also, some essential oils are however not toxic, but have emmenagogue action, which is to help to promote and regulate the menstrual flow, and should be avoided during pregnancy (i.e. chamomile, ginger, jasmine, juniper, marjoram, peppermint, rosemary just to name a few).
Aromatherapy Each massage can be customized with essential organic oils to address muscular aches, relaxation, or detoxification.

This wonderful marine mud is placed down the spine.
Cannot add if you have iodine or seaweed allergies.
This seaweed-based mud possesses spectacular properties because of its nutrient-rich composition. Freeze-dried seawater supplies sluggish cells with all indexed trace elements and minerals to jump-start enzymatic reactions, and revitalize normal cellular functions. Freeze-dried Laminaria, a brown seaweed, contains amino acids, vitamins, and iodine to nourish the tissue. Laminaria also has detoxifying properties, making this mud pack a true deep tissue detoxifier. Magnesium silicates facilitate elimination while conducting heat, helping the mud to heat up on its own. When this mud is applied to an affected area there is a direct exchange between the product and the skin. As the cells absorb the powerful complex of nutrients and balance is achieved, cellular response becomes energized enough to eliminate stored metabolic waste. This activity occurs deep in the tissue, and the previously swollen, painful, and blocked area becomes remineralized and oxygenated with restored circulation.
